On October 14, the founder and CEO of Polygled, Tatyana Chibinyayeva, and the chairman of the board of directors of the Woman of the East foundation, Saodat Tursunbayeva, signed a cooperation agreement.
The global desire for democratization and access to foreign language education, of which Polygled is a part, is in demand in Central Asia and Uzbekistan in particular. We are pleased that the first official partner of the platform in the region is the organization, one of the main activities of which is to support equal rights to education and to achieve progress. For 20 years, the Sharq Ayoli Foundation has been overseeing and implementing projects in the social, health and medical fields, school, higher and post-graduate education.
One of the leading directions of the Foundation's activity is the innovative project "Uzbekistan in the digital format of the XXI century", aimed at digitalization of education and public administration systems, as well as the citizens' mastery of modern information and communication technologies, digital means of communication and the Internet system. Along with national companies, Microsoft, Intel, Softline, HP, Fujitsu, Pc-Ware, Sharq Telecom, Polymedia, BelSvyazEnergoSberezhenie Holding and others are involved in the project implementation. Polygled, as the first hybrid online platform in the field of foreign language learning, will also participate in this project.
According to the results of negotiations held by partner and Polygled Director for International Development and Communications Oleg Volkov, 50 schools and 35 colleges in Uzbekistan will join the Class module in the near future, and it is expected that higher education institutions will be connected to the platform in the future. Together with the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Education and other ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, various joint projects are planned to improve the English language skills of civil servants. Another area of the partnership will be the promotion of the Uzbek language and culture through the platform's tools. An Uzbek version of Polygled will be developed. This will make the platform more accessible to all users from Uzbekistan on the one hand, and on the other hand, it will be a meeting place for all those who want to get first-hand information about Uzbek culture and language.
